Sketch N Scrap Card Challenge #60

Today I have my first ever card sketch for you! I love making cards, digging through my drawer of scraps, pulling out different pattern papers to layer up. So designing the sketches is just as much fun! Head over to the Sketch-N-Scrap blog to see what the other designers came up with!
On this card, I have layered papers from My Minds Eye, Dear Lizzy, Fancy Pants and Crate Paper. The sentiment is from PaperTrey Ink.

The Show is Over!

I haven't done a show on my own for many years. I forgotten what a long day it is. Getting up super early, driving over an hour, setting everything up... It was fun though. I think I actually brought too much stuff, I didn't even get to put everything out!
As you can see in the photos, I'm pretty packed. I had a lot of compliments on the set up and the fact that everything was handmade. It's sad to me that shows are going more to the mass produced made in China crafts. I take pride in selling handcrafted items.

I brought along a helper for the show. She wasn't clear on what we were doing until we got there. She thought we were going to "craft" all day. Not sell things. It was a very long day for her. Luckily Nana came and took her shopping for a while to break up her day.
On Sunday after I unpacked the car I started putting away the left overs and listing things on eBay. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and the kids spent the day outside. Brileigh did however come down to my room to bring me a bouquet she put together outside.
This is my scene yesterday and today, taking photos, listing things on my site and eBay and packaging up orders.
I have a ton of stuff online so head over to my website or eBay to see what's available!

Sketch N Scrap Card Challenge #59

Ready for another card sketch? I have this fun one from Mandy over at Sketch-N-Scrap.
To put my card together I took two project life cards and layered them. I stamped the sentiment in the cream stripe of the top card. The flower embellishment was made with a cupcake liner that I stained and a couple flower punches.

World Card Making Day Sketch

Happy World Card Making Day! Due to the holiday, we have a special card sketch for you over at Sketch-N-Scrap. Check out what the rest of the design team came up with on the blog.
For my card, I played with an embossing folder and some inks. The red ink really makes the dot pattern from the embossing folder stick out. I mounted that piece on top of some fun red, white and black papers. The sentiment is made up of a journal card and a stamped and embossed piece on the red card stock.
I hope you have time to make a card from this sketch and share it on the SNS blog!
